e-Readiness Breakdown

The e-Readiness Index is made of five key components of analysis:

  • Monetary Connectivity
    A measure of consumer purchasing power and their access to relevant financial products.
  • Device Access
    This metric measures the consumer’s adoption of technology that enables access to the Internet.
  • Online Connectivity
    Measures the level of access consumers have to the Internet.
  • e-Commerce Presence
    This is a combined measure of consumers’ online spend and retailers’ strength in the online channel.
  • On-ground logistics
    This area of analysis looks at the ability of a country or region to effectively ship and handlegoods.
